Organizational Behavior & Management:  “Managing the Success of the Saint Mary’s Gael’s Men’s Basketball Team”: Research and presentation to determine why the team has been so successful in the past several years by applying the four functions of management-planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Results included influencing Coach to implement theory in order to successfully manage team dynamics and enhance team cohesion through various recruiting and communication channels.

Management Communication: “Waste Management, Inc. Company Industry Report”: Assess organization and industry looking at data including history, company’s major products and services, company’s marketing strategies and organizational strategies, to ultimately evaluate job opportunities for future graduates.  Results showed that opportunities for future graduates are excellent because waste removal is a necessary part of society and Waste Management, Inc. is the largest waste removal company in the world; at time of report there were 681 Waste Management, Inc. jobs available.

Industry Analysis: Biopharmaceutical Industry”: Perform a complete research analysis on the Biopharmaceutical Industry focusing on Michael Porter’s five force model illustrating industry threat, bargaining power of both buyer’s and suppliers, industry rivalry, and pressure from substitutes; other areas included market structure, competitive positioning, and a 10 year forecast.  In conclusion findings showed an established industry consensus focused on the areas of oncology, competition, disruptive technology, and mass customization.

International Business:South Korea Business Opportunity Assessment”: Utilize Microsoft Office Word & Excel to assess criteria necessary for the potential expansion of our fictitious medical equipment and device’s company to our chosen country of South Korea.  A ranking systems from 1-5 was implemented to specific elements within the political, macroeconomic, currency, legal, and market arenas.  Assessment demonstrated the probable success of expanding our fictitious medical equipment and device’s company to South Korea.
